Naturally You Healthy Natural Hair Regimen Tracking Journal

Inside the Naturally You! Healthy Hair Regimen Tracking Journal

How would you feel differently if all of your hair struggles were magically erased, and you could finally achieve your natural hair goals?

  • If your hair didn't seem to stay dry no matter what you do?
  • If it wasn't shedding like crazy?
  • If it didn't seem like it couldn't get past a certain length?
  • If you didn't feel like you have to wear a wig or get braids, not because you want to but because you don't like the way your natural hair looks?

Unfortunately, I don't have a magic eraser.

What I do have is a Healthy Hair Regimen Tracking Journal that will help you learn your hair, optimize your routine and ultimately become your own hair goals.

I've used the tools in this journal to grow healthy natural hair and you can too.

The Naturally You! Healthy Hair Regimen Tracking Journal

Studies show that writing things down makes you more likely to achieve your goals.

This has been absolutely true in my healthy hair journey - writing things down in a journal has been one of the best things I've done for my hair.

What's inside the journal:

The journal starts with 7 Essential Habits of Successful Naturals. These are seven key elements of a healthy hair regimen that you can incorporate into your routine.

Next, a self-assessment walks you through all the key properties of your hair, including porosity, density, texture, shape, size, and shrinkage.

Once you know the properties of your unique hair, you can use the included hair tips to build or update your regimen.

For each month, you will evaluate the condition of your hair, and write down your observations. Are you experiencing dryness or breakage? Write it all down.

You'll assess the current length of your hair and determine if you need a trim. You'll determine if you want to make any changes to your current routine.

For each week, you'll set goals. Maybe you want to try the LOC method if you're noticing dryness. Or you might want to try a clay wash or Ayurvedic herbs. Write your goals down, then write out your regimen, incorporating the steps you will take to achieve your goals.

Use the daily habit tracker for new habits you want to establish, such as checking your hair's moisture level or doing scalp massages.

I highly recommend not changing more than one or two things in your regimen per week so that your results are very clearly linked to the changes you've made.

Continue to assess your hair on a weekly and monthly basis, and before you know it you'll see patterns that will make it very obvious what's working for you and what isn't.

When you know what's working for your hair, it has no choice but to flourish.
